Consumer Behaviour Media Presentation 07/08 - after event

YES-NEC 2007

Say "hi" to St. Hilda's Secondary School (top) and Global Indian International (below), together with our very own SP student mentors!

I was the lecturer-in-charge for these 2 schools to brief them on the components of a business proposal which they are required to submit in the YES-NEC competition.

The students did a on-line quiz and we had a friendly competition on a quiz as well.

Very energetic and responsive students. I had FUN!

Probably seeing them this Sat during the YES-NEC semi-finals :-)

Toastmasters Installation Nite - Continue

Our veteran Toastmaster, Christopher, whom we address as "the wise man."
He speaks and sings well.
I like his calm composure.

This is Mr Gea, one man I respect a lot who treats people with respect, sincerity and honours his words.

Also the compere for my wedding.

He runs his own Accounting firm, a busy man who is GENEROUS with his TIME. Appreciate him a lot.

This is Gary (middle and left hubby), our Past President of the club. Very humble and helpful man. Always carry a SMILE whenever he goes :-)
Bet you can't tell Gary is an Accountant!

Group photo of members of Toastmasters club, guests and VIPs. We were to dress as "movie characters."

Our veteran toastmaster, Patricia Lim, dressing as My Fair Lady. Very apt!
A retired English teacher :-)
No play play hah....;-)
L to R: Introducing Heidi, Oops forgot his name, sorry, a very helpful new member and Anthony, our "Bra-man."
He scripted a speech on "bra" and became our renowned bra-expert!!!

So what am I dressed as? A modern witch with hubby (in brown) as Harry Potter!!! Ha ha! Hubby did not allow me to write a 'N' on his forehead, sigh......

Toastmasters International - A Public Speaking Club

A misconception that Toastmasters are for people who are good speakers. WRONG! It's for people who hope to be developed as good public speakers :-)

It was our installation night for the incoming exco 07/08 (just like SB club!!!)

Our dinner had a theme - "starry, starry nite" with performances by several members of the club including "moi", singing a Christian song playing my keyboard.
